Opteon Property Group deliver independent property advice and valuation services across key business areas including commercial, residential, agribusiness, advisory, government services, tax depreciation and quantity surveying. In a bid to revitalise their image and position themselves as the most comprehensive and connected network of property valuers in Australia, we were commissioned to develop a new brand identity from the ground up that would represent the strengths of the company more effectively.
Much of Opteon’s capability revolves around their implementation of custom software that continually updates and analyses property data, so to capture this our solution formed around an iconic ‘O’ hexagonal brandmark portraying perpetual motion through colour and shape. Incorporating notions of synergy and adaptation, it also plays to Opteon’s ability to adapt and evolve through their large, Australia-wide network. The six sides of the hexagon reference the original six property valuation firms that formed the Opteon Property Group in 2005, making an important reference to brand heritage. The geometric form and shape of the icon is designed to represent strength, and to mimic the precision often seen in architecture and industrial equipment.
